G.M Collin Skincare Review

Hey Guys,

Today I'm here with a review of a couple of items from the G.M Collin skincare line. They were so kind and send me products tailored to my skin type. The items I received was the G.M Collin Active Exfoliant Powder, Beta-Peptide Eye Contour and the Phytowhite Dark Spot Serum.

The first product I tested and was intrigued by from the line was the Active Exfoliant Powder.

This product claims to:
  • Cleanse and purify the skin
  • Provides a granular and enzymatic exfoliation to improve the skins texture and reveal next layer of skin
  • Brightens the complexion and improves skin radiance
  • Improves the skins texture
I really enjoyed using this exfoliator and found that my skin looks luminous and felt soft. The powder, which activates on contact with water, develops into a frothy texture. It did not feel harsh on my sensitive skin but it did brighten my skin and removed any dry skin.

Next up was the Phytowhite Dark Spot Serum which claims to unify skin tone while reducing the appearance of dark spots with a special triple-action formulation that illuminates, exfoliates and helps prevent the visible signs of aging. The first thing I noticed about this serum is that it is hydroquinone free which is great because dark spot correctors I've used in the past (Proactiv dark spot corrector - I'm looking at you) contain this harmful ingredient.
I put this serum to a month long test to see if it would diminish the dark acne spots on my chin and I can happily say that I have noticed fading and a more even skin tone. This makes me so excited that there is a dark spot serum out there, that works and is hydroquinone free. Thank you G.M Collin!
The last product I tested was the Bota-Peptide Eye Contour which claims to reduce the appearance of expression lines, wrinkles, and dark circles. Since turning 25, I've noticed my under eyes have been dry and I'm starting to notice expression lines. I used this eye cream in the morning before applying makeup and I found this eye cream helped my concealer go on flawlessly which keeping my under eyes moisturized.
Lastly - a surprise lipgloss which I was so excited to see in the shipping box along with all the other goodies! This is the lip plumping complex in the shade Rose which is a gorgeous pink with a slight shimmer. Normally I am quite nervous of any product that claims to plump because of the tingly sensation that comes along with them but I found that this gloss plumped without the tingly or burning sensation that other plumping glosses tend to it. This gloss made my lips look moisturized with a slight rose sheen which I adored.

Overall I am so excited about all the products I received and I cannot wait to continue using them in my daily routine.

I hope you enjoyed my review of the G.M Collin range! Have you tried products from this line before? What products would you recommend?
